Privacy notice

How The Law Tutors handles personal information across enquiries, tutoring administration and the secure portal.

Last updated: 20 July 2026

Information we collect

When you submit an enquiry, we collect the contact and study information you choose to provide, together with limited technical evidence such as a one-way IP hash, browser description and source page. Account users may also have profile, lesson, resource, booking and finance records relevant to the service.

How we use it

We use personal information to respond to enquiries, match and deliver tutoring, administer accounts, bookings and payments, keep appropriate service records, meet legal obligations and—only where you opt in—send occasional marketing communication.

Lawful bases and consent

Enquiry handling and service administration normally rely on steps taken at your request, contract, legitimate interests or legal obligations. Marketing email relies on consent and can be withdrawn at any time.

Sharing and storage

We use carefully selected service providers for hosting, authentication, file storage, calendar functions and communications. Access is limited by role. We do not sell personal information.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection, and may withdraw consent. Contact admin@thelawtutors.co.uk to make a request.
